A lively singing group for seniors, Classic Harmony, formerly Hearts Ever Young, will be held at The Lincoln Home for all interested every Tuesday at 2 p.m. The talented Sean Fleming and Beth Preston are leading the group, which welcomes all seniors, of all abilities. Music will be a wide variety including pop, gospel, Broadway tunes, folk songs and familiar selections from the Great American Songbook.

The Murky Water Band comes to Brady’s on Sunday afternoon for the 6th annual Super Bowl Tailgate party from 2-5. Come join us as we watch the pre-game and pull some numbers for the big game.  Fun for all!!

Maine continues to see a steady increase of qualified buyers while lack of inventory and current interest rates contribute to a lower-than-average number of real estate transactions.  Statistics shared by Maine Listings indicate a 6.14 percent decrease in sales comparing December 2023 to December 2022. For that same time, the median sales price increased 6.21 percent, reaching $350,500. The MSP indicates that half of the homes were sold for more and half sold for less.

Tuesday marks the beginning of Brady’s winter season! We will be open Tuesday thru Saturday from 11:30-7pm and Sunday’s thru the Super Bowl from 12-5. Monday’s are Community Lunch at 11:30. Tuesday’s opening menu will be limited due to the storm and a couple of unforeseen complications but moving forward we will be offering daily lunch specials, happy hour specials, and our nightly features!

Thanks to your hard work, and willingness to light up, our community was able to come together and create holiday magic for all to enjoy. 

Greetings of the Season! What a celebration of our Lincoln Home family, friends and community at our holiday open house! Music and incredibly delicious food on every floor, laughter, delight in sharing our new renovations and beautiful holiday decorations.

Maine continues to see a high number of qualified buyers across the state while for-sale inventory remains low. According to Maine Listings, 1,218 homes were sold during the month of November, a decrease of 5.51 percent compared to November of last year. The median sales price for homes sold last month jumped 9.23 percent compared to November 2022, reaching $355,000.

Remember those cool lobster treats we used to carry? The blueberry treats? And those pumpkin ones? What about Brew Bites? Salty Biscuits? Why are they all gone? They were all made by a business owned by a wonderful woman named Pat.

I shall now tell you the story of what happened to all the other treats.
